Gladestry Lent lunch

LENT LUNCH - St Mary’s Church held the annual Lent lunch in the village hall.
Homemade soup and bread was on offer as friends from other villages and churches gathered to enjoy a simple meal. No charge was made but donations were accepted in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and £234 was raised. Vera Hobby, local fund-raiser for the charity, thanked everyone.
