FLICKS IN THE STICKS - As part of the Borderlines Film Festival there will be a showing of Bright Star in the Memorial Hall tomorrow (Friday) starting at 7.30pm. Entrance is £4 for adults £2.50 for under-16s.
JAM CLUB - This is every Friday evening during term time in March, and from April 16, for children aged seven to 11 at the Baptist Hall 6.30 - 8pm.For details, contact Julie Ritchie.
JAM PACKED - For young people agd 11-14, 8pm-9.30pm in the Baptist Hall on March 19 and 26. For details, contact Matt Powell.
ALL-AGE WORSHIP - The all-age worship on February 14 welcomed members of the Air Training Corps 1246 Ewyas Harold Squadron who did a dramatised bible reading, helped take collection and read a wonderful poem called High Flight which was written by a pilot in the World War II. They also renewed the promises that they made on enrolment to the ATC. The music for the service included a hymn set to the tune of the Dambusters. Sunday is the next all-age service, with the emphasis on mothers. Refreshments will be served after the service.
MOTHERING SUNDAY - There will be a special service in Kilpeck Church at 10am.
DULAS COURT - There will be a Baptist service on Sunday at 4.15pm,.
CHRISTIAN AID - Over the past years a small number of volunteers has run the Christian Aid Week in the village.
They would like to widen efforts for Christian Aid in the area with special events such as, sponsored cycle rides and walks etc. A group is needed to organise things and especially to involve youngsters in the area.
Comments and observations would be appreciated at a planning meeting to be held in the Baptist Hall on Tuesday at 7.30pm.
RAINBOW ARTS - Meet in the Baptist hall 10am-noon every Wednesday, open to all abilities and ages 18-plus.
Learn to draw, acrylics, watercolours or decoupage. £3 per week, with refreshments available.
LENT LUNCHES - On March 18, at noon at the Baptist Hall, with soup lunch served at 1pm. The subject this week will be Jesus and a Blind Spot.
EASTER BINGO - Ewyas Harold preschool holds an Easter bingo on March 26, in the Memorial Hall, with lots of chocolate prizes. Doors open at 7pm, eyes down at 7.30pm. There will be a raffle and refreshments available.
HAITI APPEAL - On March 20, there will be a spring sale in the Memorial Hall, 10am-2pm, in aid of the Disasters Emergency Committee. People can bring good quality unwanted items to sell and donate 50 per cent of the profit.
Buyers can donate on the door.
