Fownhope ON FILM - Fownhope local history group will have an evening of local films tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm, at Fownhope Memorial Hall. One of the films will show the building of the church lych-gate in 1953, built to celebrate the Queen's Coronation. This film, taken by John Soulsby, was recently converted into DVD format by his son Richard.

The hop fields and production of this crop at Dormington will also be shown, plus a car ride from Hereford to Fownhope in the 1960's. See what has changed. A few memories of local people and events should be stirred by these old films. Admission £3, includes tea or coffee and biscuits. Everyone welcome.
