BENEFICE BIBLE STUDY - Finding Strength in Weakness is the next meeting, on Tuesday in the rectory. Bible study at 10am, coffee at 11.15am then prayers at 11.45am. WI - In May Yvonne Mort enthralled institute members with her demonstration on the art of flower pressing, inspiring some members to take up the hobby. After a busy jubilee day, joining in the carnival and helping to serve the teas on the recreation ground, members are looking forward to a relaxing evening on Tuesday, when Brenda Drake will be telling the about the work of the Associated Country Women of the World.
Meetings are held in the memorial hall and start at 7.30pm. New members and friends are always welcome.
WOMEN’S GUILD - The May meeting welcomed Mike Pullen, an acclaimed local fundraiser for St Michael’s Hospice. He showed a film, Frank Goes to London. Frank was a horse and Mike and his team took him and his carriage from Ledbury to London, raising money for the hospice on the way. This month the club’s annual garden party at the home of member Wendy Gunn will have a jubilee theme.
