SPONSOR A CHILD - Through abaana.org the churchwardens in Ewyas Harold benefice have decided to sponsor Sharon Tumusabe, who is 10 years old and lives in the village of Bulyankuyege in Uganda.
RAPID RESPONSE TRAINING - The village hall committee is looking to arrange training for willing local residents. A person equipped with this training can keep a person alive until the arrival of the paramedics. Email admin@kilpeckvillagenews.co.uk for more details.
ATC SUNDAY - A non-eucharist service of worship for all ages will be on Sunday, 10am, at St Michael’s Church. It will include celebration, thanksgiving and prayer for our local ATC Squadron with refreshments available afterwards. All are welcome. To find out more about the squadron or join the ranks, it meets every Friday evening at St Michael’s Hall. A new purpose-made building is being erected in the grounds of the Memorial Hall.
AFRICAN ART - Jill Salmons continues her lectures for the WEA on Mondays from 2.30pm in the Memorial Hall.
ART CLUB - First meeting of the Kilpeck Art Club will be on Monday, 2pm-4pm, in Kilpeck Hall. For details, contact jmdrhd96@ btinternet.com.
BIBLE STUDY - The benefice will meet at the rectory 10am on Tuesday to round off studies on the parables and decide on the next topic.
Pause for coffee at 11.15am then reassemble for prayers from 11.45am-12.15pm. All are welcome.
WI - In January members discussed resolutions for the national AGM then took part in some lighthearted quizzes. They go on a trip around Canada with Mark and Anne Ponting on Tuesday, 7.30pm, in the memorial hall.
