WALK - Today (Thursday) the destination will be Bryn Awr, a distance of about five miles. For a less strenuous walk why not join Walking For Health?
They meet every Friday at 10am outside the fish and chip shop in the centre of the village. Short gentle walks last about 40 minutes, led by a qualified instructor. There is no joining fee and no need to book, just turn up.
LENT STUDIES AND LUNCHES - Churches Together in Ewyas Harold have organised a series of reflections entitled Encounters with Jesus in the Baptist Hall starting at noon today (Thursday). A soup lunch will be served at 1pm. The series will run for the next five Thursdays, same time, same place and all are welcome.
PANTO AGM - Kilpeck & District Pantomime Society will be holding its annual meeting today (Thursday) in Kilpeck Hall at 8pm. Last year’s performance was a great success and the society is always looking for new members, on stage or off. If you are interested, please go along to the meeting.
WEA - In the Baptist Hall on February 23, at 7.30pm, Steven Desmond will continue his lectures on botanic gardens of Europe.
