SHAPING OUR PLACE 2026 - Herefordshire Council has drawn up an economic plan for how it sees the county developing over the next 15 years. It has defined Ewyas Harold as a rural service centre and proposes that 100 new homes are absorbed and that we lose entirely, or have adjusted, our parish boundary. The consultation period, to have your say, ends on March 12. To view a detailed account of the proposal, go to herefordshire.gov.uk. Also on this website is a questionnaire which we hope as many people as possible will return.

PRIMARY SCHOOL - All the Christmas performances were a roaring success, much enjoyed by pupils, staff, and parents. However it was with regret that we had to say goodbye to Miss Milroy, though we wish her every happiness in her new teaching post. A new term has begun and we have welcomed a new teacher, Miss C Morris, to teach year five. Instead of recycling your unwanted jam jars please donate them to class two. It will be interesting to see what they will do with them.
