Eardisley whist drive and French classes

WHIST DRIVE - Players met at the New Strand for the last drive in the summer season.
Prizes were won by Kath Evans, Beryl Lewis, Margaret Price Michael Handley, Phil Farmer and Olive Howells. Thanks are due to the Cardwell Fmily for hosting the events, Briar for providing refreshments and Rona and Phillp Jenkins for organising the games.
Play resumes at 7.45pm on September 17.
FRENCH CLASSES - Conversational French classes are held monthly at Langtoft, Almeley Road, the home of Rodney and Anne Wood. Tuition is provided by French specialist Sarah Saunders. Contributions from members have amounted to £120 which is being donated to Acorns Children’s Hospice.
