BOWLING - Eardisland Bowling Club was defeated by 77 shots to 68 following the visit to Hereford on Thursday evening. Best rink for the visitors was Jonathan Farndon who skipped Joan Stokes, Doug Tantrum and John Moses to an excellent 30 to 14 victory.
RIVERSIDE OPEN GARDENS - August 26 to 27, 11am-5pm, Duck Races at 2pm on Sunday teas from 2.30, plant stall, river of coins in the Church. Tickets, £5 on the day from Arrow Lawn Garden. In aid of St Mary’s Church.
