FLORAL ART - The theme of “Jewels in the Crown” will be taken by Beryl Griffiths when she presents a floral demonstration in Eardisland Village Hall on March 24, at 7.30pm. Doors open at 6.30pm. Tickets at £7 are available from Esther Simpson on 01544 388641 or Wendy Priday on 388570. Tickets include a glass of wine and nibbles. There will also be a raffle.
PARISH COUNCIL - A meeting of the parish council will take place in the village hall tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm.
Members of the public are invited.
COFFEE MORNING - The Twinning Association will hold a coffee morning on Saturday, 10am to noon, to raise funds towards the cost of hosting the French visit to Eardisland in 2011.
Everyone is welcome.
QUIZ - Kingsland Group WI quiz at Eardisland Village Hall on Wednesday, at 7pm, starts with a jacket potato supper with various fillings. Tickets, £5, available from Mavis Tantrum on 01568 387972. Teams are of four people and everyone is welcome. There will also be a raffle and proceeds from the evening will go to the church flower guild.
