BAND - There have been some enquiries about the setting up of a band in the Eardisley group. Alison Hird, on 01544 231780, would be pleased to hear from anyone else who is interested in this project.
CINEMA - The film tomorrow (Friday) will be Gran Torino (certificate 15) starring Clint Eastwood. Doors open 7pm.
OPEN GARDENS - Eardisley Open Gardens will run from June 26 to 27.
Anyone willing to open their garden to the public is asked to contact Don Killick on 01544327333. This is planned as a fund-raising event for the Village Festival in 2011.
TENNIS CLUB - Shoppers at Sainsbury’s supermarkets are asked if they would kindly donate the free vouchers which the retailer is issuing until June 8 for sports clubs to spend on equipment for juniors.
