COFFEE - There will be a coffee morning at the Cedar Hall on Saturday, 10am to noon, supporting Save the Children, with Christmas gift ideas, cards, cakes, produce, knitting and a prize draw.

DRAMA AT THE PUB - Next Thursday, November 17, there will be a farcical evening of goofs and gaffes, pulling pints and cracking whips as Dilwyn Amateur Dramatic Academy try to Save Their Pub by foul means or fair in this home spun farce in aid of the local school, written by Tony Hobbs. 7.30pm at The Crown Inn, tickets £10 to include a fish and chip supper. REMEMBRANCE - St Mary’s School will mark the silence at 11am tomorrow (Friday), at the village war memorial in St Mary’s churchyard, where Edward Jones will give a short talk and the Rev John Lewis will officiate.

Members of the public are welcome.
