WI - Due to the January meeting being cancelled because of bad weather, the annual election of a new committee took place last week. New members were voted to the positions of president (Elaine Russ), secretary (Lesley Hay) and treasurer (Sue Thomas). A past president, Eleanor Wellings, and a former treasurer, Dot Teather, were voted onto the committee as advisor and vice-president respectively. Elaine is looking forward to welcoming all longstanding and new members at the next meeting on March 11, at 7.30pm, in the Cedar Hall.

FLICKS IN THE STICKS - The Young Victoria (certificate PG) will be shown at the Cedar Hall tomorrow (Friday) at 7.30pm. The lavish period romantic drama features Miranda Richardson, Jim Broadbent and Emily Blunt.
