Flicks-As part of the Borderlines Film Festival programme, the film "UP" (U) will be shown in the Cedar Hall tomorrow ( Friday) at 7.30pm. This is an award winning cartoon for all ages. Grumpy old widower Carl ties helium balloons to his house to avoid being sent to an old people's home. He flies off to South America accompanied by a cute, eight-year-old stowaway. A delightful combination of wry humour, deft characterisation and adventure.
W.I.-The meeting (a social) on Thursday 11th starting at 7.30pm in the Cedar Hall will also be of interest to those who would like to join the WI and learn about this years activities. Any enquiries to President Elaine Russ 01544 319363.
