W.I.-Due to the January meeting being cancelled because of bad weather, the annual election of a new committee took place last week. New members were elected to the positions of President (Elaine Russ), Secretary (Lesley Hay) and Treasurer (Sue Thomas). A past President Eleanor Wellings and a former Treasurer Dot Teather were voted on to the committee as Advisor and Vice President respectively. Elaine is looking forward to welcoming all long standing and new members at the March meeting on Thursday 11th at 7.30pm in the Cedar Hall.

FLICKS IN THE STICKS-‘The Young Victoria’ (PG) will be shown at the Cedar Hall this Friday 19th at 7.30pm. A lavishly re-created period, romantic drama featuring Miranda Richardson, Jim Broadbent and Emily Blunt.
