BALL - Taste for Adventure is holding a summer ball on September 10 to honour a peak achievement by its founder. Bosses will mark the 35th anniversary of “Brummie and Bronco’s” ascent of Everest with a corporate fund-raiser. Former SAS soldier J H “Brummie” Stokes founded the centre in 1991 to give underprivileged children a taste of adventure. For details, call 01432 761398.
