MARKET - Clifford Farmers’ Market is in the village hall on Saturday, 10am to 1pm, for all things locally grown or reared. Stalls include meat, organic bread, fruit, seasonal vegetables, cakes, plants, logs for the fire, jams and chutneys. The café will be serving fresh coffee and bacon butties. Ample car parking.

JAPANESE TSUNAMI - Help raise £1,000 for the child victims of the Japanese tsunami at Clifford Community Hall on Saturday at 7.30pm. Enjoy an evening of song, food and laughter with The Monday Choir, The Three Welsh Tenors and The Holy Joes. Tickets, at £10 each, include a delicious fork supper and must be booked in advance on 01497 831373. Bring your own bottle. Great raffle prizes.

MARKET - The farmers’ market will take place on Saturday between 10am and 1pm at the village hall. The market is for all things locally grown or made. Stalls include organic bread, handmade chocolates, meat, cakes, patisserie, jams, preserves, logs, plants and more. The café will be open as usual serving bacon rolls and coffee with newspapers to read. Ample car parking is available.

Stalls include handmade bread, meat, flowers, pies, cakes, logs, plants and Hay Community Gardeners. Autumn fruits are in abundance to make jams and chutneys for the coming year and lots more. There is a café serving fresh coffee and bacon rolls.

SHOW - Clifford Show is on Sunday at the community centre between noon and 4pm. Attractions include a dog show for handlers aged 12 and under, a kune-kune pig display, nail bar, face painting, spinning lights, a performance by Clifford Primary School music club and much more. Entries for the produce, flower and craft competitions need to be delivered to the hall not later than 11am. Proceeds from the show will be distributed between community projects and Clifford school.

FUN ROUNDERS MATCH - Villagers held a fun rounders match and barbecue to raise money for the Midlands Air Ambulance. £100 was raised, thanks to everyone who got involved and made it such a fun evening.
