THE Clehonger Community Group wants to raise funds for Help for Heroes and improvements to the playing fields.
The group wants to transform the park because it contains poor playing equipment and attracts anti-social behaviour.
They are holding a raffle at the Tesco store in Belmont, Hereford, on July 1 and 2 with top prize being a new Renault Expression Twingo 1.2 16v.
The grand prize winner will be announced on August 21 during a fun day on the playing field, with highlights including a dog display team, dancers, family games and a tug-of-war competition.
