PUDDING PARTY - Thanks go to Meg and Mike and all who supported the pudding party. More than 50 people came to sample some 20 puddings which Meg had prepared and a thoroughly good time was had by all. Into the bargain more than £400 was raised for Castle Frome Church funds.

PUDDING EVENING – By popular demand, Meg and Mike Harrold are repeating the pudding evening on Friday at 7pm at their home – Penbre, Castle Frome – the proceeds of which will go to Castle Frome Church. All are welcome.

CHURCH UPDATE - Following a wonderful end to 2012 members look forward to the coming year’s happy and interesting times together, beginning with the first Pause for Thought of the new year next Thursday, January 24, at 7.30pm at Pat’s, Grove Cottage. Also, come along to the lay-led family praise service on January 27 at 10am at the church where the congregation will be invited to tell whether they have managed to keep any new year resolutions. Coffee and tea are served at the close of the service with time to socialise.

JUBILEE - Don’t miss the Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Tuesday starting at 4pm, with a street party in Moorend Drive by permission of Martin and Virginia Jolly. This will be a bring-and-share tea. Further information from Meg on 640129. There will be games for the energetic and a game of rounders in the evening followed by a barbecue by the pool.

SERVICES - On Sunday, Family Praise is at 11.30am in Castle Frome Church. Bring a picture of a celebration you have been connected with. Refreshments will be served at the end. On Sunday, February 26, there is a service at 8.30am.
