FINAL FREIGHTER - The freighter will be on the car park in the village centre on Saturday, 11am to 1pm, to accept household waste from parishioners. No commercial/industrial waste, liquids, hazardous or dangerous waste.This is the last visit of this subsidised service.
FILMS - Dog Days and Lion Nights is an audio-visual adventure presented by wildlife filmmaker Ben Osborne of his filming expeditions for Planet Earth, and will be at the village hall on Saturday. Tickets cost £8 (£5 children) and include a hotdog supper. The event is sponsored by Arts Alive. The next Flicks in the Sticks presentation at Dorstone Village Hall will be Julie and Julia on March 26, at 8pm. Phone 01981 550451 to book tickets for both.
