ART IN THE CHURCH - On Saturday from 11am-4pm there will be a number of local artists and craftsmen demonstrating and displaying their work. These include stained glass, painting, woodwork, jewellery, pottery, fly-tying, quilting, tapestry, lino-cutting, and there will also be a chance to have a go at bell-ringing from 2pm. Entry is free, and there will be tea, coffee and cakes. All donations to the church will be most welcome.

Make sure you don’t miss our ’Art in the Church’ day, on Saturday, 11th February from 11.00am – 4.00pm, when there will be a number of local artists and craftsmen demonstrating and displaying their work. Many thanks to Jenny and John for hosting the evening! Dave and Sarah drew the winning numbers and after 38 draws are still waiting to win on the night. 1st prize £50 - #16, Dennis Price, 2nd prize £25 - #50, Eric Probert, 3rd prize £15 - #28, Andrew Pearce. The winner of In-It-To-Win-It £10 was Sandy Strang and after saying, "I'm not lucky". Congratulations to you all. Thanks to everyone for their on-going support. Next month's draw will be held on Thursday, March 1st at 8 pm in the Red Lion. Philip Bauer will host the evening. More social than market, but great chance to buy local produce, home baked cakes, jams, crafts, whatever is on offer. £1 fee to sellers for a table. Reminder! The first draw of 2012 will take place on Thursday, February 2nd, at 8 pm in the Red Lion Hotel, Bredwardine. Jenny and John Forsyth will host the night. Same rules as previous years. You do not need to be present to win any one of the first three prizes. The Red Lion will have a Curry Night prior to the draw. Come along before the draw and enjoy.
