KNIT AND CHAT – Ladies at the weekly coffee and chat are putting their time there to good use by knitting blankets for the local Home Start charity. Anyone who would like to join them would be welcome at the New Bridge community centre, every Wednesday from 10.30am - noon.

HISTORY EVENING – The next local history evening will be a trip down memory lane when Stella Mitchell from the Land of Lost Content Museum will display and talk about everyday items from the 1930s to 1960s. It’s taking place at the New Bridge community centre next Thursday, April 25 at 7.30pm. Everyone welcome, admission £2 to include coffee and biscuits.

Admission £5 to include refreshments. Proceeds in aid of the community centre.
