New Bredwardine & Brobury Village Quiz Date !

All systems go! The "annual" Quiz will be held on Friday, 19th March at 7.30 pm in the Bredwardine & Brobury Village Hall. Come along for some friendly rivalry with your friends and neighbours! Raffle and prizes. Come as a team or make up a team on the night. Entry is only £1 per person. A light supper will be served during the evening. There will be a complimentary drink on arrival, but otherwise bring your own drink. Beat the gloom of winter. Plan to attend.

Friends of St. Andrew's 100 Club Draw Participants, Bredwardine

In 2009 our 100 Club Draw donated £940 to St Andrew's Church to trim and cut trees in the churchyard. This year, St Andrew's is asking for our collective opinion in the selection of a Churchyard Project. Here are the choices: 1) Repair the Churchyard Wall, which is falling down 2) Stabilise the Grave Stones so that they remain standing and do not have to be laid flat 3) Trim / Cut Trees and Hedges where needed. Fruit Tree Pruning Course

The course will be held this Saturday ( March 6th ) and Sunday ( March 7th ) at the New Forest Farm, Hay-on-Wye, starting at 10 am. Learn to prune young and mature trees. Tuition Fee £20 / day. Contact Tamara LeBailly on 01497 820 656 if you would like to attend.

Special Celebration at Bredwardine & Brobury Village Hall!

Now that our new photovoltaic panels are up and running, it is time to celebrate our achievement! Mark your diaries for Friday, 9th April from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm in the Bredwardine & Brobury Village Hall. We will toast Greenearth Energy, Ltd, who installed our panels. They will also be available to answer questions. Hereford Times plan to attend and document the event. If that is not enough, we will hold our first Coffee, Cakes and Produce Market of 2010. Come and join us. Buy or sell. Enjoy a chat and a "nibble" with friends and neighbours.
