GARDENING CLUB - The next meeting is on Tuesday at 7.30pm in the parish hall and will feature a talk by Laura Hone from Holme Lacy College. There will be a sales table, raffle and refreshments. New members and visitors are welcome.

COUNCIL - Bodenham Parish Council will meet at Siward James at 7.30pm on Monday.

All parishioners are welcome. The agenda will be posted on the council noticeboards.

On display will be an exhibition of photographs of the village, as taken by group members.

FLICKS IN THE STICKS - Films return to Bodenham Parish Hall on February 10, at 7.30pm with a showing of the 2011 version of Jane Eyre (PG), starring Judi Dench. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets remain £4 each, and refreshments are available. Enquiries to 01568 797451.

ROYAL TEA - A stately home is to hold a royal tea party to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee. Broadfield Court will be full of patriotic bunting, flags, stalls and entertainment on June 4.

BLAZE - A fire crew was called to Caldervale, Bodenham last Thursday afternoon (January 26) to deal with a fence fire.
