AUCTION – All Saints Church Bishopswood, is holding an auction on April 27 at Bishopswood village hall. Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm, followed by ploughman’s supper. Variety of items for sale including old postcards and watches.

Bishopswood WI is holding a ladies fashion show and sale of ladies summer styles in sizes eight to 22. The clothes from high street stores and will be sold at greatly reduced prices.

Bishopswood Church Flower Festival

FLOWER FESTIVAL - Bishopswood Church – “The Church in the Woods” – is holding a flower festival from May 27 to 30, 11am to 4pm each day, serving light refreshments, with a cake stall and display of old local photographs. On Friday, there will be a concert at 7.30pm with programme to suit everyone given by Joanne and Robert Lucas. £5 entrance to include refreshments. On the Saturday, local strawberries and cream are served and on Sunday there will be songs of praise at 6.30pm with Hereford Archdeacon P Benson. On Monday afternoon there will be cream teas and the grand draw at 4pm. Proceeds are to enable a water supply to be installed. For information, call Sylvia on 01989 763577.
