Whist drive at Bishopstone Community Centre

VILLAGE LOTTERY - Ian Astley won £25 with number 45.

CHURCH - Bishopstone and the other benefice churches welcomed new vicar Rev Rana Davies-James at her licensing and installation service on November 18, at a packed St Mary’s Church, Credenhill. The service was attended by the bishop and archdeacon of Hereford and other visiting clergy. A social event followed at which the new vicar received a gift from each church in the benefice. A presentation was made to Rev Angela Dean in recognition of her work during the interregnum.

COMMUNITY CENTRE - A whist drive will be held on December 2, starting 7pm, in aid of Bishopstone Church funds. Tickets available from Pat Astley on 590283 at £6.50 each including light refreshments. A Christmas cake made and donated by Mrs L Rogers of Bishopstone) will be raffled.

VILLAGE WALK - Meet at the Comet Inn near Madley at 10am on Saturday to order food.

Circular walk around Ruckhall, seven stiles, could be muddy in places.
