Bishops Frome and Fromes Hill farewell to Rev Prebendary Jane Davies, parish council meeting and singing for fun

FAREWELL - On Sunday, to mark the departure of Rev Prebendary Jane Davies from the Frome Valley group of churches, there will be a farewell buffet lunch at 1pm at the Village Centre. Anyone wishing to attend, or to contribute towards a gift for Jane, is asked to contact Isabel Spiller at the parish office on 01885 490229.

COUNCIL - The parish council for Bishops Frome and Fromes Hill will meet at 7.30pm on Tuesday in the Village Centre. Councillors will consider suggestions for a refurbished playground at Bishops Frome and suggestions for a new facility at Fromes Hill. There will be further discussions on proposals for the 2012 diamond jubilee. All parishioners are welcome to attend.

SING - Singing for Fun starts up again tomorrow (Friday), from 7.30pm to 9pm in the Village Centre, an excellent way to welcome in the New Year with some good rousing singing. For details, call Richard on 01885 490628.
