FASHION - To raise funds for Aymestrey Village Hall a fashion show was held at Edinburgh Woollen Mill in Ludlow. With the store manager and her team showing a range of ladies’ and men’s styles, the audience had a very enjoyable evening which included a glass of wine and nibbles.

QUIZ - The November quiz saw a full house with 12 teams taking part. Hosted by Steph Dunn and Marion Griffiths, the Rat Catchers won with 78 points with the Cheese Crispies second and Northern Lights third. £115.88 raised on the night was donated to Children in Need. The Christmas quiz on December 16 is hosted by Ken and Ruth Scamp.

NATURE TRUST - The Nature Trust meets tonight (Thursday) in Aymestrey Village Hall at 7.30pm when Sue Russell will give a talk The Burren in Spring.

PUB GAMES NIGHT - A pub night with soup and puddings will take place in Aymestrey Village Hall on Saturday from 7pm. The charge will be £5 on the door.
