Almeley church service and Christmas market

CHURCH - There will be a confirmation service in St Mary’s Church, at 11am on Sunday. Among those to be confirmed by the Bishop of Ludlow will be members of the choir and others from the group of parishes. The choir, together with the Eardisley Church Choir, will be singing carols at 10am on Saturday, as part of the Kington food fair.

MARKET - Come to the Christmas market in St Mary’s Church, 6pm to 9pm tomorrow (Friday). There will be about 15 stalls to include holly wreaths, jewellery, books, stained glass, books, preserves, cider, crafts, candles and soaps. Mulled cider, mince pies, and hot dogs will be served and the choir will rehearse from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
