FRIENDS OF ST ANDREW’S 100 CLUB DRAW - The March draw will be today (Thursday) at 8pm in the Red Lion Hotel, Bredwardine. You do not need to be present to win, but it is so much more fun if you are there.
Graham and/or Pauline will be our hosts and perform the draw honours.
FRUIT TREE PRUNING COURSE - The course will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the New Forest Farm, Hay-on-Wye, starting at 10am. Learn to prune young and mature trees. The tuition fee is £20 for the day. Contact Tamara LeBailly on 01497 820656 if you would like to attend.
SPECIAL CELEBRATION - Now that the new photovoltaic panels are up and running, it is time to celebrate the achievement. Mark your diaries for Friday, April 9, from 9.30am to 12.30pm in Bredwardine and Brobury Village Hall. We will toast Greenearth Energy, which installed the panels and will be available to answer questions.
We will hold our first coffee, cakes and produce market of 2010. Come and join us, buy or sell and enjoy a chat and a nibble with friends.
NEW QUIZ DATE - The postponed event will be on March 19, at 7.30pm in Bredwardine and Brobury Village Hall.
Come for friendly rivalry with your friends and neighbours, a raffle and prizes. Teams will be a maximum of four people. Come as a team or make up a team on the night. Entry is only £1 per person. A light supper will be served during the evening. There will be a complimentary drink on arrival, but otherwise bring your own drink.
