THOUSANDS of people took advantage of last weekend’s hot weather and turned out for the annual Bromyard Folk Festival.

The traditional rural entertainment came from artists such as Spiers and Boden as well as a host of morris dancers.

The successful three-day event came on the back of last month’s Bromyard Jazz Festival, which also proved a boon to the town.

Festival director Dick Dixon said: “It was absolutely fantastic. The town was buzzing with people."
