A CHIMNEY fire spread to the roof of a converted farm building near Pencombe yesterday.
Three fire engines, as well as a water carrier and an aerial ladder platform were called to Hegdon Hill just after 10.15am.
Crews had to remove tiles from the roof and were at the scene for most of the day.
There were no reports of any injuries or rescues taking place.
Meanwhile, firefighters also had to tackle a woodburner fire at Castle Frome at 9pm last night.
