Pumpkin fun at castle

PUMPKIN trails and spooky goings on are on offer at Goodrich castle this Halloween.
Eight pumpkins will be hidden around the castle and children who find them all and decipher the secret message will be rewarded with a sweet treat.
Wendy Amer, Goodrich Castle's visitor operations site supervisor ,said: "Goodrich is a wonderful castle to explore with rooms, stairways, ramparts and cellars, so there are an almost unlimited number of places where we can hide the pumpkins to make the challenge change throughout the week."
The castle is open daily from 10am to 5pm until October 31. From November 1 it will be open Wednesday to Sunday 10am - 4pm.
