PUPILS at a school near Bromyard were not put off by the cancellation of an annual ploughing competition.
The 76 students at Bredenbury Primary School were gearing up for the Stoke Bliss competition before it was cancelled due to poor weather.
Having already prepared entries across several wide-ranging themes, such as writing and making animals out of cucumbers, it was decided they should all be displayed and judged.
“It was wonderful to see so many entries of an outstanding quality,” said headteacher Sarah Somers.
