A NEW beer is to be launched by a Herefordshire brewery and 5p from every pint will be donated to charity.
Fallen Hero, a 3.8% straw coloured beer, will be available throughout the West Midlands and has been produced to celebrate 90 years since the end of the First World War.
The beer is being launched by the Wye Valley Brewery, based in Stoke Lacy, which will donate 5p from every pint to Combat Stress, an ex-services mental welfare society which works to rebuild the lives of veterans who suffer from mental injuries.
A ‘Fallen Hero’ dinner and a cookery demonstration will both be taking place next month in conjunction with the beer’s launch.
For more information about these events call Lizzie Thomas on 01885 490505.
