A WORKSHOP near Bromyard housing potentially explosive acetylene cylinders has been destroyed by fire.
Around 50 firefighters battled to bring the blaze, at Thornbury, under control following the triple nine call just after 11am this morning.
The workshop was completely gutted while a nearby games room was also damaged.
Steve Jordan, station commander at Hereford Fire Station, said a number of firefighters would be at the address until tomorrow morning.
