PUPILS from a tiny school near Bromyard have reached the finals of a county football competition.
Bredenbury Primary School proved size isn’t everything in the Herefordshire Youth Games.
The school was the smallest of 10 competing at Hereford Leisure Centre on 4 July, but made the final of the football section and were outstanding throughout.
Their team of Year 3 & 4 girls won all four group games without conceding a goal, and came from behind to edge the semi-finals.
Sadly, the young footballers were beaten 2-1 in the final by St Pauls, but staff and parents were proud of their efforts.
