PLANS to safeguard the future of schools in the Bromyard area will be revealed at a crucial meeting next month.
Parents have been urged to show their support for the Bromyard cluster at the town meeting on July 15.
The cluster - consisting of six primary schools and Queen Elizabeth Humanities College - have drawn-up plans for their future following the withdrawal of the draft schools review in February.
According to Bromyard & Winslow Town Council, who called the meeting, Chris Bull, chief executive of Herefordshire Council, has agreed to attend.
Organisers want a similar turnout to January's meeting, where more than 1,100 people rallied against the closure of QEHC and merger of four primary schools.
“It would be an open-ended meeting to that community that showed so much solidarity in January,” said Coun Jonathan Lester, mayor of Bromyard.
“The issues have not gone away - as many people as possible need to know what the issues are and this is a great way of addressing them.”
