THE man behind some of Britain’s most outrageous soap-stories is holding a talk in Bromyard this month.

Peter Cox comes to the Falcon Hotel on June 18 to lift the lid on Brookside, and his experiences as a writer.

His talk, titled “Secrets of a playwright”, takes in 25 years of drama writing for the stage and screen.

Peter wrote or co-wrote 2,500 episodes of the Channel 4 soap, but is a notable playwright, and his dramas have been performed in the Royal National Theatre.

The Bromyard Film Project is presenting the 7.30pm talk, while tickets are priced £2 and available from the Falcon Hotel or Honey Pot.
