WIMBLEDON’S most famous residents are to mingle with film stars in Bromyard this summer.
The Wombles will be at this year’s Community Festival, taking place from June 6 to 8.
The recycling pioneers are guests of honour at the event, which incorporates a craft fair and scarecrow festival.
The fun kicks off on Friday night with a parade featuring more than 50 scarecrows, all depicting a film title.
They’ll be seen around the town on Saturday and Sunday, and there’s a £50 prize for the person who identifies the most.
The fun continues on Sunday with a duck race along the River Frome. More than 1,000 ducks could take to the water.
