HEREFORDSHIRE Housing (HH) is spending £3.5 million on insulating homes in the Newtown Farm area of Hereford.

The association is carrying out the work – which consists of new roofs, windows, loft insulation, gas boiler replacements and a new ventilation system to reduce condensation problems –after securing a grant from the Community Energy Saving Programme.

HH said this latest round of improvements will cut fuel bills for residents.
