Shop selling Apple iPads and iPhones opening in Hereford

A shop selling Apple products is to open in Hereford.

The iStore, which is run by a company called Albion, has announced plans to move to the city.

But the firm won’t be moving onto the city’s £90 million Old Market complex favoured by many High Street retailers, instead opting for an empty shop on Commercial Street.

The former Early Learning Centre store will be transformed into a multimedia outlet selling iPads, iPods and iMacs and accessories.

The store is due to open at 11am on November 17.

Why is this being reported as though these items were not previously available in Hereford?

Finally Herefordians are able to get their hands on the Apple products that have evaded them for so many years! Sigh.

Great news - as an Apple fanboy of 25 years, I'll be able to pop in and have a play regularly. Albion are a quality outlet with knowledgeable staff, quite the opposite of other well known sheds on the edge of town. Good news for High Town as well, at last.

Would prefer a real Apple Store but this sounds just as good. I look forward to it.

Ooh I love Apple! Will be good to see an empty shop filled and the prospect of a few new jobs too. Wishing them the best of luck in a difficult financial period.

Good to see a shop opening rather than closing. Looking forward to taking a look.

I come from a generation where an apple was an apple
An orange is an orange
Bluetooth was something painful
And the web was made by a bloody spider
Its now such a confusing world

I give them no more than 6 months until they close down.

We have plenty of idiots and fanbois, but none of then have the ridiculous amounts of ninety for apples severely over priced products.
