Car firm considers next move after Credenhill plan is refused
12:30pm Tuesday 16th October 2012 in Local News By Paul Broome
A SELF-built sports car company has hit out at opponents of its bid to relocate to Credenhill.
Raw Striker wanted to move from Shelwick to the village but was refused permission by Herefordshire Council’s planning committee last month, despite the idea being recommended for approval by officers.
Applicant Callum Bulmer said issues that objectors brought up, such as worries over smell, traffic and the proximity of cars and horses, could be overcome.
The firm is currently deciding whether to appeal the refusal.
“The move would have seen us through the next 15 years or so; we are not likely to expand dramatically,” said Mr Bulmer.
“The council should be in favour of small businesses. We just felt like it was a stitch-up.”
Almost 30 letters of objection were submitted ahead of the committee’s debate. A 20-signature petition was also submitted.

This is important stuff. This Council dont seem to grasp how important it is to support business that generates wealth and employs people within our home Hereford.
I'm close to giving up the will to breath in and out. Our Council are as mad as me but they have their hands on the levers of power.
