TRANCE DJ Lisa Lashes – renowned as being the best female DJ in the world - will be at Hereford nightclub Fusion tomorrow (Friday) night.
The 41-year-old has mixed numerous Euphoria albums and is famous for launching her ‘Lashed’ dance music events in Ibiza.
She said that she is looking forward to returning to the city tomorrow.
“I’ve been playing in Hereford since the Naughty but Nice and Jailhouse days and they’ve always been a brilliant crowd that I’ve always enjoyed playing to,” she said.
“I’ve been evolving my sound over the past two years, slowing down beats per minute slightly, but still keeping the energetic feel to my performances by mixing up tech trance and some crossover house material as well.
“I think to have longevity in any career you have to change your style to update it and keep on track of what’s going on in the outside world.
“I have to admit that I never thought in my wildest dreams when I started out that I would get this far and achieve what I have, but I owe a lot to all the people who’ve helped me along the way in my career.”
Elsewhere in the Hereford clubs, hip-hop and bass music artist Million Dan will be playing at the Jailhouse tomorrow (Friday) night.
He has developed a massive following for his distinctive lyrical style with hip-hop classics, like Dogz and Sledgez and Mic Check.
Support on the night comes from Phat Tony, Big Daddy Spliff, Mr Bliss and Throwback.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the Jailhouse hosts an evening of ska, reggae, and dub.
Ian Davies will be kicking things off in Play tonight (Thursday) and two rooms of music will be open tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
Sexy R’n’B will then be played by the Simply Soul team on Sunday.
Saxtys will have its dance floor open tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday, while Mamma Jammas will be playing alternative music tomorrow (Friday) and disco on Saturday. Outside of the city, head to Euphoria in Leominster tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday and Charlie’s in Ross-on- Wye from tonight (Thursday).
