People in Ross-on-Wye are celebrating after the town won gold in the Heart of England in Bloom Award.

The Chase Hotel in Ross also finished top, taking gold in the hotel and pub grounds category.

Elsewhere, Leominster and Hereford won silver-gilt awards, and Ledbury, Pembridge and Eardisland won the town, village and small village categories respectively.
