Beyoncé gets Bulmers bug

THE world’s hip hop stars are known for their love of Cristal champagne.

But for Beyoncé, the queen of R ‘n’ B, it seems that one of the county’s most famous brews is the best.

Nick Grimshaw, who is soon to replace Chris Moyles as the Radio One’s breakfast DJ, told a national newspaper that he saw the Destiny’s Child singer drinking Bulmers at a party in London.

The Guardian article said that Grimshaw recently encountered Jay-Z and Beyoncé in a Hackney pub and said the latter was, a little improbably, dancing and "drinking pints of cider”.

Grimshaw added: “Well, not pints, but Bulmers, you know, bottles of cider. She was definitely having cider with ice in it.”

Last week it was Shane and Liz buying sausage rolls in Ledbury. This week it's Beyonce and a passing reference to Bulmers. Plus I doubt you'd be able to confirm if it really was Bulmers or one of the many other 'ciders-on-ice' available these days.

What a totally weak and pointless story.

I can confirm it. Its all true. Not only did I serve Hurley and Warne at the Bakery but oddly enough, I actually danced with Beyonce and can positively confirm she 'downed' sixteen pints of Bulmers Cider whilst she and I waltzed together to Adam Ants rock classic 'Prince Charming' What she drank and consumed following Jay Z telling me to clear off and comply with the requirements of my Restraining Order I've no idea. This is excellent news for Hereford.

bobby47 - keep it up - your accounts of living life on the edge (of madness) whilst baking and dancing for tabloid royalty, perhaps both at the the same time, are gripping and hilarious.

TwoWheelsGood, Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it's an interesting life I lead and it does fill me with joy knowing that my unhealthy heavy dependance upon prescription only drugs and their obvious side affects, namely pretending to knead dough over and over again, give you a boost.
My warmest regards to you.

Apdor, My friend, you have'nt replied and I was hoping you would.
You've posted (18) letters to describe your feelings toward this story or my posting.
To the young journalist who is probably making his/her way in their career they would probably want some feedback as to why you think its rubbish. It maybe very important to this journalist to know why you feel that way. Me, I know my posting is tripe. My entire outlook on life is satirical and full of tripe and rubbish but I do know I'm at least original.
When you post something on this site you surely want somebody to read it. Putting together (18) letters in a sequence aint very difficult to do and it aint the best read I've ever had.
In future, try having a beginning, a middle and an end and somewhere within that post throw in, if you can, an amusing annecdote that grabs the readers attention.
