Horse training equipment stolen from Leominster barn

MORE than £1,000 worth of horse training equipment was stolen from a barn near Leominster.


The theft occurred between 6.30pm on Saturday July 28 and 9.30am on Sunday July 29, when thieves cut the padlock off a gate accessing the lane leading to the barn, located just off the A49, and then cut the padlock off the barn door.


When inside they stole equipment used to train horses for harness or trotting racing - also secured with chains - including two custom-made horse jog carts - one orange and one blue - worth around £1,400 and a number of knee pads and tendon straps worth more than £250.
