Local football scene mourns death of Ian Jones

THE man who died in a crash on the A49 yesterday has been named locally as Kingstone Harriers player/assistant manager Ian Jones.
Mr Jones, who liived in Peterchurch died after his Rover car was in collision with a lorry and another car on the A49 near Wellington at around 9.30am yesterday morning.
He was also a former goalkeeper and captain of Hay St Marys.
