Students at Hereford College of Arts launch British Red Cross linked exhibition

STUDENTS at Hereford College of Arts have launched an exhibition exploring humanitarian issues raised by the British Red Cross.

The exhibition, entitled When Elephants Fight….It’s the Grass that Gets Flattened, runs throughout May at the college’s new arts space.

Vicky Gatley, Red Cross youth and schools manager, said: “I am thrilled with the enthusiasm, sensitivity and creativity shown by the students. I hope this helps every viewer to reconsider their role in preventing conflict in the future.”

The British Red Cross encourages young people to become more active in their communities by teaching them about humanitarian values and citizenship.
