Local people are being asked to contribute their memories to Hereford Cathedral Close's In Living Memory oral history project on Saturday, February 13.
Catcher Media and the Dean and Chapter of Hereford invite you to drop in to College Hall in the cloisters of the Cathedral between 10am and 12.30pm on Saturday, February 13 for a chance to share and record your recollections and memories of Hereford Cathedral Close: “We are particularly interested in people’s memories of large events that have taken place in the Close, but equally want to hear from people with their own personal stories to tell,” says Dominic Harbour, head of communications at Hereford Cathedral. If you are interested in contributing photographs, film clips or memorabilia along with your memories we will include them in a timeline that will help to form the ideas and shape of the final film to be launched in January 2011.
Rick Goldsmith from Catcher Media commented, "We are very impressed and excited at the richness and variety of the stories that we have already collected and this event offers a great opportunity for more people to contribute to this historic DVD - we are just as interested in small stories as we are in big events."
